We had 3 students participate in the ACI 2nd Annual Meeting Students Research Competition.  The winner of the $500 cash prize was Cameron D. Murray from the University of Arkansas.  His research paper was on “Controlling Alkali-Silica Reaction in a Harsh Industrial Environment”.  Our second student was Magued Barsoum from UALR & third was Richard Deschenes from the University of Arkansas, both with research papers on “ASR”.  This was a very close competition & with all 3 student’s having the same topic as their research paper made it that more difficult for the judges to decide on a winner.
